The QSOL represents all the occupation currently in demand in Queensland and is updated regularly. As well as publishing a list of occupation sin demand on the QSOL the State of Queensland also add extra criteria against certain occupations so they get out of immigration exactly the skills they need for the State.

Requirement for Queensland Immigration Onshore Application
Requirements for Queensland nomination (onshore)
- meet both Australian criteria and Queensland (BSMQ) criteria for your
- chosen have a points test result of 65 or higher, inclusive of state nomination points
- have a positive skills assessment
- be under 45 years
- meet minimum English language requirement
- have an occupation on the QSOL
- provide evidence of full-time employment for the past six months
- satisfy specialization or other requirements
- provide evidence of ongoing full-time employment
- commit to living and working in Queensland for two years
